As part of the program of the Midwest Development Office to exploit opportunities for partnership and international cooperation in order to contribute to the modernization of its means of work and the development of its activities, the office organized on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, a working meeting with Chinese representatives of “SUPERMAP”, a provider of GIS platform software and services, and in the presence of TOPGEO Design Office, the exclusive representative of SUPERMAP in Tunisia. The meeting allowed the Midwest Development Office to inform the Chinese group about its tasks and attributions, in particular those related to regional statistical information and the steps taken in the field of Geographic Information, and the Chinese expert to present the SuperMap GIS platform.
The meeting also discussed opportunities to establish and develop partnership relationships and cooperation in the field of GIS development. The possibility of signing a partnership agreement to this effect was also discussed.
