Preparation of the 12th development plan at regional level
The Office of Midwest Development participates, in this context, in the preparation of a document on regional development in the governorate of Kasserine.
This document is a zoom on the achievements of the first period of the 11th development plan (2007-2009) and the development strategy under the 12th plan.

The 12th Forum of Carthage
The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia), under the auspices of the Ministry of Development and International Cooperation, announced the holding of the 12th Forum of Carthage, 3 and 4 June 2010. It will take place in the Hotel El “Mouradi” in Gammarth.
This 12th edition will present, through a rich and varied program, the advantages and potentials of the site "Tunisia" and will discuss through a prospective vision of new catalysts for the attractiveness of Tunisia.

Regional seminar on the horizons of tourism in the governorate of Kairouan
Kairouan: a rich history and culture enabling it to position itself as a destination for cultural tourism
The Governorate of Kairouan organizes, in collaboration with the Midwest Development Office and the National Tunisian Tourism Office, and under the auspices of the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Slim Tletli, a regional seminar on "the horizons of tourism in the governorate of Kairouan”.
The aim is to make known the cultural heritage of Kairouan and to present a strategy for its valuation in order to develop tourism in the region.
